[GRAPHIC: Should I Just Pay the Fine?]
JAMES E. TYNER: Many people believe the easiest course of accident is to simply check the guilty box and pay a fine. The consequences of pleading guilty are serious. There are fines associated with a guilty plea. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles may assess points on your license. And depending on the seriousness of the offense, the department may suspend or permanently revoke your privilege to operate a vehicle in the state of New York. If you're too busy to go to court or you're not from New York or simply don't want to deal with the anxiety of showing up in court alone, let us handle your traffic ticket for you.
